  As a family of long time customers, I'm very disappointed with the new "guarantee" policy that was sprung on customers without notice. One day I was told by store staff I could exchange something, the next day I'm told I can't. This decision was a huge mistake by the company, as my family won't be purchasing items from here anymore I'm sure there are plenty of others who feel the same. LL Bean clearly didn't learn the lesson that Sears learned when they changed their guarantee policy on their overpriced products and are now hanging on by a thread.
  Good luck LL Bean. I'll be buying my crappy China-made flimsy products from Wal-Mart and Amazon now instead of you.

  No long a quality store. Does not stand behind their products any longer which I'm sure will be made much more cheaply now that there is no return policy.
